THE NEW AGILE FRAMEWORK
Agility in HR is beginning to feature more in business dialogue in response to unforeseen circumstances, shifting expectations and challenging demands. It is not as ethereal as it might sound, as there are founding principles, behaviours and processes that help HR teams be more agile and practise more agility in their work.
In summary, Agility in HR today means:
-
Being comfortable with more unorthodox HR and work practices in organisation design, and in hiring, developing and enabling people at work to respond to uncertain and challenging times.
-
Needs high self-awareness in HR professionals to realise a shift in mindset and behaviours as well as processes, protocols and utilisation of advancing digital technologies.
-
Should become embedded in HR practices to create refreshed operating frames that go beyond crisis management or implementing new HR initiatives creating a more relevant and adapted employee experience.
-
Is a constant state of reimagination, application, learning and deployment of those HR products, services and enabling interventions
